Not from this week exactly, but I was digging through my most recent sketches and this one stood out to me.
When I first did it I felt like it was unfinished and at the same time I didn't know where else to take it.
I suppose it's possible to read what I call the shoulder contour in a number of ways, but when I see a woman turned slightly toward her right shoulder as her hair falls it feels like a fleeting moment frozen with the potential energy of where she was and where she is about to be.
